Nestled in a serene rural area, L'Auberge l'Aghjalle is a charming retreat that envelops its guests in an embrace of comfort and tranquility. My husband and I, seeking a romantic escape, found solace in the cosy ambiance of our soundproof room, which offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside from our private terrace. The culinary experience was a highlight; we savored delightful Corsican dishes crafted from fresh, onsite-grown vegetables, though we did miss a broader breakfast selection. While the location near Calvi – Sainte-Catherine Airport made our journey convenient, it was the hospitality that truly elevated our stay, with the staff accommodating us with friendly warmth. L'Aghjalle is undoubtedly a delightful gateway to the essence of Corsica, perfect for history and food lovers alike.
